It it fall yet?

I've been doing lots of fall crafts lately. Getting ready for fall is so fun! I love the season and I'm sick of this hot Calgary weather. Head past the jump to see what I've been working on lately.

We Are All Canucks

This is a picture I took a few years ago of one of my tree decorations.

My team is the Vancouver Canucks. I love them, I'm from BC and I think they're fab. I put up with all the crap from everyone else about the twins and the goalies and how terrible everyone thinks they are (despite Luongo being the best goalie the Canucks have ever had, despite Alain Vigneault being the best coach they've ever had, despite the twins being the leading goal scorers they've ever had, despite the fact that I could keep going on ;). Last night was our first playoff game of the season against the San Jose Sharks (which are my number 2 team, so I'm kinda pissed one of them will be out right away) and even though we didn't win I do think it was a great game overall. I thought the fans were awesome as always and Marc Donnelly was lovely too! In celebration of our first playoff game, Zero dressed up in his Canucks dog handkerchief (and by that I mean it was forced upon him) and he looked fabulous! Head past the jump for pictures of him.

Nature is the Best Medicine

All photos were taken by me, with exception of the one my husband took of me.

My lovely husband and I went on a free afternoon date to Greengate Garden Centre to check out the plants and flowers. I had lots of fun taking photos of the flowers and plants, I used my Samsung NX 1000 for the first time for photos other than snapshots and I think it worked great.

Parvana, September 2012

I snapped a few quick pictures of my cat the other day, and loved the way they turned out. Head past the jump to see how pretty she is!

Wednesday Penelope

I thought I'd update you all on my lovely little pug! After the jump will be a bunch of recent photos, so I suggest you check them out. Wednesday is now almost 1 year and 5 months old. We go to an off leash dog park everyday where she has lots of friends. She weighs about 17 pounds right now and the vet says that is a little chubby, but she's the smallest pug at the park! She has been settling down more, not acting as much like a puppy which is a bittersweet. I love her to pieces and she is as good as always!
